The Porridge for Parkinson's Breakfasts co-hosted by Marg Meikle and Noel MacDonald, support the Pacific Parkinson's Research Institute (PPRI) which supports the Pacific Parkinson's Research Institute at the University of British Columbia (UBC).

Please join us for the 11th Porridge for Parkinson's Breakfast on Sunday, November 20th from 8:30 to noon at the home of Marg Meikle, Noel MacDonald and their son, Mac. (Click here to view the invitation)

This fun morning includes hundreds of bowls of porridge, muffins and baked goods, coffee, tea and lively conversations as part of our fundraising work in support of the Pacific Parkinson's Research Institute Professorship at the University of British Columbia. Pacific Parkinson's Research Institute Professorship at the University of British Columbia

Thanks to the generosity of hundreds of friends, matching fund donors and the leadership of PPRI, we have now raised $1.6 million toward our goal of $2 million to fund the professorship.

D. Silke Cresswell, an internationally renowned neurologist holds this professorship at UBC and is actively engaged in both clinical care and academic research on Parkinson's. We invite you to read the UBC Impact Report for more information about Dr. Cresswell's work. (click here for the report)
