PPRI at the North Shore Seniors' Health Expo

Please join PPRI at the eighth annual North Shore Seniors’ Health Expo on Friday, June 19th. This free event features exhibitors, speakers, and researchers focusing on cognitive, physical, social, financial, and nutritional well-being and is aimed at providing useful information and resources for seniors, family members, and caregivers.

Seniors’ Activity Centre | West Vancouver Community Centre Gymnasium

Late in the morning of the Expo, please join us from 11:15 am to 12:00pm in the Garden Room to hear PPRI's Dr. Lynn Beattie and Dr. Samantha Schaffner give their presentation:
Topic: The Bjorn Moller Research Repository (BMRR) Project at UBC.

Following this presentation, Dr. Schaffner will be hosting a booth in the gymnasium to recruit volunteer participants for the BMRR.

We ask every member of our community to consider getting involved in the BMRR, both those living with PD and those for the control group. We're hoping that the BMRR database can double from its current level to reach its density goal.

Finally, we encourage you to review our PD research projects currently seeking support.
